DROMIN-ATHLACCA finished strong to book a spot in the Lyons of Limerick Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship final, beating previously unbeaten Murroe-Boher 0-19 to 0-18 in Kilmallock on Saturday.

Late scores from Jack Fitzgibbon and David Reidy gave the south Limerick men a late lead and they managed to hold on.

Trailing by two deep into injury time, Seanie Tobin tapped a 21-yard free over the bar to half the deficit.

However, Athlacca were able to win the resultant puckout to claim the win.

For the men from east Limerick, it snapped a 14-game winning streak that dated back to the 2024 Intermediate Hurling Championship semi-final.
