LIMERICK have named their starting 15 for Sunday's All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship final against Galway.

John Kiely has made two changes to the side who beat Clare in the semi-final - with team captain Cian Lynch back into the side after injury and Mike Casey coming in at full back.

Lynch was introduced as a second half sub in the dramatic semi-final win over the Banner, a hamstring strain meaning the Patrickswell man couldn't start the game.

Casey started three round robin games and was introduced as a substitute in both the Munster final and All-Ireland semi-final wins.

For Nickie Quaid, Diarmaid Byrnes, Kyle Hayes, Gearoid Hegarty and Aaron Gillane it is a sixth All-Ireland final start for them since the breakthrough win in 2018.

Will O’Donoghue and Peter Casey will make their sixth final appearances as will Tom Morrissey, Dan Morrissey and Darragh O'Donovan should they be called from the bench.

Meanwhile, Galway have named the same 15 who started their emphatic win over Cork in their semi-final a fortnight ago.

LIMERICK: Nickie Quaid; Sean Finn, Mike Casey, Barry Nash; Diarmaid Byrnes, William O’Donoghue, Kyle Hayes; Cian Lynch, Adam English; Gearoid Hegarty, Aidan O’Connor, Cathal O’Neill; Aaron Gillane, Shane O’Brien, Peter Casey.

GALWAY: Darach Fahy; Joshua Ryan, Cillian Trayers, Darren Morrissey; Padraic Mannion, Daithi Burke, Ronan Glennon; Tiernan Killeen, Gavin Lee; Tom Monaghan, Cathal Mannion, Darragh Neary; Conor Whelan, Jason Rabbitte, Aaron Niland.
