Bike Week Limerick 2023

It's National Bike Week from 13th – 21st May!
Bike Week is an initiative of the Department of Transport and is a week-long celebration of the benefits of cycling. In Limerick this ranges from community cycles, free bicycle clinics, inclusion cycling events, lunchtime city rides, greenway group cycles, school cycling events, bike festivals, cyclocross and much more.
When it comes to Bike Week, there really is something for everyone.

This year #BikeWeekLimerick will include events in pre-schools, primary schools, workplaces, and several local communities across Limerick city and county. So, whether its mountain biking in Ballyhoura, pop-up cyclocross in the city parks, or a peaceful family cycle on the Limerick’s beautiful Greenway, there is something for everyone this #BikeWeekLimerick.
There are lots of ways you, your friends and your family can get active this Bike Week. Why not:
- Cycle to work?
- Cycle to school?
- Cycle with friends or family?
- Cycle around your local area?
Regardless of age or ability, this is a great opportunity to try one of the many FREE events taking place during #BikeWeekLimerick.
