Conor Pope of the Irish Times will give a seminar on shrewd spending and dealing with the modern nightmare of poor 'customer service'
May 7 and 8 sees the return to Limerick and the South Court Hotel of the 50 Plus Expo, the lifestyle event for people who are about to, or already have, retired.
The event features over 50 displays, demonstrations and workshops covering fashion, food, consumer rights and entitlements, health, hobbies and pastimes and home and abroad holidays. Over 1,300 people attended last years event and the organisers expect to exceed that this year.
Highlights of the show include a talk from Conor Pope on ‘Spending less and save yourself from the scourge of shocking customer service’; cooking demonstrations; craft workshops and daily fashion shows courtesy of SVP Limerick.
There are also note, coin and stamp valuations, advice on tracing your family history and a goody bag for all attendees.
