Madi O’Carroll, Gordon Quigley and Katie O’Kelly in Dubliners’ Women, a faithful adaptation of segments of James Joyce’s famous text
THE hidden worlds of Joycean Dublin are revealed in a stage play bound for the Belltable this Saturday night.
Dubliners’ Women is directed by Sarah Baxter and adapted by Katie O’Kelly, who will be writer in residence at the Belltable in 2018. It shines a light on the lesser-known women’s stories in James Joyce’s iconic collection of Dubliners short stories.
The script is a faithful adaptation of Joyce’s text, with stories presented in a strong physical storytelling style.
