CELEBRATED entertainer Aonghus McAnally pays a special tribute to Christie Hennessy, one of Ireland’s most beloved singer-songwriters who passed away in 2007, at a show in the Lime Tree Theatre this Thursday.

In the all new show, Celebrating Christie Hennessy, The Platinum Collection, McAnally brings the Hennessy songbook to life with his uncanny recreation of his close friend Christie’s voice and guitar playing.

The show celebrates both Hennessy's music and story-telling brilliance.

McAnally paid a visit to the Lime Tree last week ahead of the show, where Limerick Chronicle photographer Michael Cowhey got this snap of him in the theatre and he said he was “really excited” about the Limerick gig.

The show features Messenger Boy, Jealous Heart, If You Were To Fall, All The Lies That You Told Me, and the iconic Roll Back The Clouds among other hits.
