THE ladies of Limerick and beyond will be sporting their finest fashion for the Keanes Jewellers Ladies Day competition at Limerick Racecourse on Sunday October 9.

The best dressed ladies on the day will be awarded a diamond pendant to the value of €4,000 for first place; an afternoon style session for second place or a luxury hamper for third place. The ten finalists will each receive a generous goodie bag.

The competition will be judged by 2015 winner Lisa McGowan and will include two fashion shows in the Fashion Village on the day as well as style advice from Celia Holman Lee.

Amy O’Regan, sales and marketing executive at Limerick Racecourse said: “We are really excited about Keanes Jewellers Ladies Day.

“I’d like to thank our generous sponsors,  Keanes Jewellers, Aisling Maher Millinery and Boutique, Serendipity Shoe Boutique and Inis – The Energy of The Sea.

“All ladies are welcome to register for the competition in the Fashion Village Marquee between 1pm and 2:30pm.”

Tickets are priced at €15 and can be purchased online on or on the day of the event.

Keanes Jewellers Ladies Day forms part of the Munster Weekend of Racing, with Lord Scoundrel, Wrath of Titans, Clarcam, Domesday Book, and Elegant Statesman among some of the big name horses running in Greenmount over the weekend.
