Gig of the week: An historic tale of Collins' fight for independence and a chronicle of a private life

Directed by Patrick Talbot, A Great Arrangement will show, for one night only, this Friday, September 10 at 8pm

DURING a year of Easter 1916 Rising commemorations, the Lime Tree Theatre brings a dramatic twist to the days of Michael Collins’ fight for independence.

Directed by Patrick Talbot, A Great Arrangement will show, for one night only, this Friday, September 10 at 8pm.

It shows the development of a great love story, as Collins negotiates the Anglo-Irish Treaty, with strong lead performances by Dominic MacHale and Irene Kelleher, as Kitty Kiernan.

Tickets are €16/€18.

See interview with Pat Talbot in this weekend’s Leader 2.
