Major live dance show returns to Limerick as part of the 2026 Docklands Festival

Block Rockin’ Beats is set to take over the Docklands next summer as part of the 2026 festival line-up

DEC PIERCE’S acclaimed Block Rockin’ Beats show is set to make a spectacular return to Limerick next year.

The show will be a part of the 2026 Docklands Festival promising a high-octane live production that is set to take place on Saturday, August 15.

Now regarded as one of Ireland’s most explosive live music experiences, Block Rockin’ Beats transforms the world’s biggest dance anthems into a full-throttle performance featuring a live band and special guest vocalists.

Audiences can expect a high-energy set packed with classics from Underworld, Faithless, The Prodigy, the Chemical Brothers and other heavyweights of the genre.

The show is the festival version of Pierce’s hugely popular Today FM radio programme.

Following successive sold-out headline dates and standout festival appearances nationwide, Block Rockin’ Beats continues to expand its reputation, blending rave, dance, rock and nostalgia with immersive production.

“The show is all about energy, nostalgia, fun - we want you to completely lose yourself for a few hours.” said Dec. “It’s more than a gig; it’s a trip back through the anthems that shaped us, powered by a full live band and incredible guest vocalists. When the crowd meets the band at full tilt, it’s pure magic.”

Speaking ahead of the announcement, Mick Dolan said: “Dec’s shows are something else. The buzz, the atmosphere - last year’s performance was one of the absolute highlights of the Docklands calendar. You don’t want to miss it.”

Tickets go on sale this Friday, 28 November, at 10am from Dolans.ie and Ticketmaster.ie.
