Foynes singer-songwriter Gearóid McCarthy has officially launched his first studio album

HAILING from Foynes, singer-songwriter Gearóid McCarthy has officially launched his first studio album, Tip Of The Hat.

Gearóid will bring the music back home with a highly-anticipated Limerick show at Woodlands House Hotel, on March 5, 2026.

From the banks of the Shannon to stages worldwide, McCarthy has built a devoted following of over 750,000 on social media and currently enjoys over 84,000 monthly Spotify listeners.

His debut album pays homage to the musical masters who shaped him, while showcasing a confident, contemporary voice in Irish folk music.
