A HOMEOWNER in the Adare area who lets their four-bedroom property out during the Ryder Cup 2027 could earn €25,600 for eight nights by using the competition’s official scheme, it has emerged.
People who registered on the official platform to rent their property out during the 2027 tournament were sent an email outlining the recommended price guide.
There’s a sliding scale of prices which are advised for a stay of eight nights, from Sunday, September 12, 2027 until Monday, September 20, 2027.

It’s based on three standards of property - five star, four star and three star, as well as the distance away from Adare Manor.
The owner of a four-bedroomed property which is classed as “exceptional” and within walking distance of the five-star resort is being advised to charge a total of €25,600, or €6,400 per bedroom.
Homeowners based in the city - less than 30 minutes away from the venue, with what is considered a ‘good’ property, or three star, could be in line to take home €3,100-per-bedroom over eight days.
This falls to €2,700-a-room if you’re based up to an hours’ drive away from Adare.
And even those on the outer reaches of the county, an hour or more away from Adare, can still expect to charge €1,950-per-room over eight nights in this ‘good’ category.
The guide prices are being provided by the official travel services provider for the 2027 Ryder Cup tournament, which has given a similar service to major sporting events for the last 30 years.
Homeowners are expected to provide at least one bathroom for each two bedrooms.
Ryder Cup Travel Services is providing two tiers of support for homeowners.
One is called listed, which means the property owner in Limerick is responsible for the management of the listing of the property and dealing with tenancy queries, plus orgnaising the rental contract and payments. This will cost €295.
A more premium managed service, which costs €645, will see the company asisst any homeowner in finalising and optimising a property listing, and provide a rental valuation of the rental amount which could be achieved.
They will also actively market the property, and deal with contracts and payments.
