THE exceedingly eccentric and devilishly theatrical Jerry Fish brings his Electric Side Show to Limerick for the first time this week.
Fish welcomes The Strypes, Paddy Dennehy and the Red Herring, plus his own band and a group of circus performers for the show in Dolan’s Warehouse this Thursday night.
The Side Show has been a popular feature at Electric Picnic in recent years and has now ventured out on tour, with the shows featuring everything from dancing girls to strongmen, contortionists and the special musical guests.
A gig solely featuring Cavan rockers The Strypes alone would be top of our list, not least when the quartet are appearing along with Jerry Fish and his merry band of performers.
The hugely impressive young rock outfit – consisting of Ross Farrelly, Josh McClorey, Peter O’Hanlon and Evan Walsh – play their only Irish date this side of Christmas along with Limerick’s own Paddy Dennehy, hotly tipped to make a big impact in 2016.
See Thestrypes.com for more and see Dolans.ie to book tickets for the gig. Doors 8pm, tickets €20.
