My Week with Celia Holman Lee: Soaking up the sun, in style!

My Week with Celia Holman Lee: Soaking up the sun, in style!

Aoibhín Garrihy and I on the boardwalk in Spanish Point - windswept in the best way possible - on the beach! Spanish Point was stunning in the sun and I was delighted for Aoife

THE BALMY beach setting of glorious Spanish Point was heavenly as I joined a thriving group of career-driven ladies for the launch of Limerick fashion designer, Aoife McNamara’s Season 9, Bláth Fiáin overnight event.

The fashion show, which took place on a local beach, saw a wonderful bunch of beautiful women come together to celebrate fashion of Limerick roots, sustainability and creativity.

Those who attended included influencers such as my fellow Limerick ladies, the stunning Chloe Walsh and Shauna Lindsay, as well as the beautiful Sinead O'Brien. Former Fair City actress and entrepreneur, Aoibhín Garrihy attended, as well as vegan chef and beauty blogger, Holly White.

We had a fabulous day and celebrated in style with a few sneaky gins, courtesy of Hendrick's Gin.

Aoife is a credit to her brand and is a pleasure to work with. Her shop, located in Adare, is booming, and her drive is very admirable.

The Armada Hotel in Spanish Point was an idyllic location, and, thankfully, we got superb weather to match. The sun was shining and the waves rolling in at our feet as we strolled the beach, laughing and taking pictures, embracing the sunshine and salty sea air.

The plant-based dinner was delicious in the sublime setting of the four star hotel. Thank you to all staff and organisers who made our stay something of a dream.

As well as clothes made from the most authentic materials, Aoife stocks jewellery, notebooks, ceramic mugs and even paintings made by other Irish artists.

With a range of light pastels in Aoife's latest collection, such as yellow and lilac, and with a pop of turquoise, the ocean was the ideal backdrop to launch the line.

I wish Aoife the greatest success in the launch of her latest fashion line of the summer season. And, thankfully, we seem to be actually getting a summer!

I can't wait to write for you all again next week,
XxCelia
