Here I am pictured with guests at Adare Manor hotel where the two-day Fairway Fore Hope charity event took place
ADARE Manor is one of Limerick’s many gorgeous venues, but it is extra special as it ranks as number one in the world, according to one of the most prestigious travel magazines on the planet, the influential Condé Nast Traveler. As well as this, the luxurious golf resort and hotel was also awarded a five-star rating by Forbes’ Travel Guide.
The spellbinding manor hosted this year's Fairway Fore Hope transatlantic, celebrity golfing and charity event. It was a private event, which I had the absolute privilege of attending.
Over the course of two days many well-known Irish and international faces played some golf, wined and dined and stayed in the magnificent resort - all in aid of three wonderful charities. In association with Isobel boutique in Adare and Marc Cain, the Holman Lee Agency models and I held a fashion show like no other in the outstanding setting of the manor, where we owned the runway with couture fashion to match our truly opulent surroundings.
Our audience consisted of an international crowd and celebrities, who we hope were mesmerised by the style we had on offer.
The ball, which I attended on the evening of Wednesday, May 24, was as glamorous as could be. Guests included Westlife’s Brian McFadden and Boyzone singer, Keith Duffy, as well as Sky Sports broadcaster Andrew Coltart. Many more were present over the two days and it was such a joyous occasion to be part of.
The golf competition sees non-professional players compete on the rich greenways of the golf course at Adare Manor. The winning team was presented with the Dillon Quirke Memorial Trophy, which is in honour of 24-year-old Tipperary hurler Dillon who died suddenly last year - may he rest in peace.
I truly had a delightful time. On behalf of my husband Ger, the Holman Lee Agency models and I, thank you to all who could make this magical occasion happen.
