LIMERICK mobile homeowners have a nervous wait to see if their seaside boltholes have been wrecked during Storm Éowyn.
Popular Ballybunion Instagram page @ballybunionprintsbeach has shared a number of videos showing severe damage to mobiles in the popular holiday spot for Limerick families.
The roof of one has been taken clear off while another has been badly hit by the almost hurricane-force winds.

Jason O’Doherty - the man behind the account with almost 5,000 followers - said: “Unfortunately there is damage done around Ballybunion. It was a terrible night here, a very bad storm.”

In another post, he wrote: “Most of the caravans at the top of the beach here are OK. Some are not OK unfortunately.”
It is not known if mobiles in Limerick’s other traditional summer getaway of Kilkee have also been damaged.
