LIMERICK mobile homeowners have a nervous wait to see if their seaside boltholes have been wrecked during Storm  Éowyn.

Popular Ballybunion Instagram page @ballybunionprintsbeach has shared a number of videos showing severe damage to mobiles in the popular holiday spot for Limerick families.

The roof of one has been taken clear off while another has been badly hit by the almost hurricane-force winds.

Jason O’Doherty - the man behind the account with almost 5,000 followers - said: “Unfortunately there is damage done around Ballybunion. It was a terrible night here, a very bad storm.”
