WATCH: 'I'm sorry' - RTE weatherman baffled live on air after incident in studio
RTE weatherman Gerry Murphy was left speechless on live television on Thursday evening after an unfortunate incident during the weather segment.
The seasoned Met Éireann forecaster was delivering his weather bulletin after the Six One News when suddenly the technology in the studio let him down.
As Gerry attempted to use his trusty clicker to advance the visuals to show the satellite images over Ireland, the system stalled. The screen behind him was only displaying a scenery photograph.

However, being a pro, Gerry recovered after briefly going silent as he attempted to resurrect the device.

"I'm sorry, my clicker has stopped working so I cannot advance the chart." Gerry then briefly summarised the upcoming weather before signing off.
RTE shared footage of the moment on social media with the caption: "What a pro Gerry Murphy is."
