WATCH: Flash floods hit as heavy rain and thunderstorms continue across the country
Met Éireann has extended a Yellow warning to most of the country today with heavy rain and thunderstorms expected.
Flash floods have already hit parts of Wexford as seen on a video posted on X this afternoon by Carlow Weatherman Alan O'Reilly,

The video shows traffic trying to make its way through the flood in Ballycarney, Wexford.
The national forecaster warned that spot flooding, poor visibility, and difficult driving conditions were to be expected across the country today.
The new warning, issued at 1pm this afternoon, covers all of Leinster and Connacht, as well as counties Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Clare, Cork, Limerick, Tipperary, Wexford and Waterford.
