THINGS are beginning to heat up on The Traitors Ireland as contestants are starting to turn on each other including Limerick father and son, Paudie and Andrew Moloney.

Andrew said he's looking for people who are trying to plant seeds. "I am unsure about Paudie because regardless of whether or not he is my Dad, he is a contestant in the game and he's a player."

He also confronted traitor Katelyn about whether or not she mentioned his name referring to who she is suspicious of after Paudie told him this. Paudie said: "I mean maybe your suspicions are right. I'd just be careful around her."

Andrew questioned whether the spat between Mark and traitor Paudie during the round table was staged. "Two traitors? I don't want to put suspicion on you but Paudie's pushed a narrative this morning of fair play to you for sticking with your gut and Mark has said I'm going to put your name aside."

Paudie also lied to son Andrew telling him he was "absolutely 100% a faithful." He later said it wasn't nice to lie but "I'm lying for his good and my good." Andrew said he's a faithful as well and that he was suspicious of Katelyn at the start."

Paudie also remarked that he would love to try and bring Andrew on board (as a traitor) but "will absolutely take the fall to keep" Andrew there.

Interestingly, Faye who is a faithful said she would really love if someone was secretly together or in a relationship. Andrew said: "Ireland's so small as well. There has to be two people that know each other."

Traitor Eamon joked that Paudie's his father.

Following the conclave, where the traitors meet to discuss their next moves, Paudie stated: "As far as the other two traitors concerned I know that they've a game plan as well as I've a game plan."

Eamon said Paudie's not ruthless enough. "He doesn't have the liathróidí for it and Katelyn is starting to come around to that."

Katelyn said: "I think the day that we need to vote Paudie out is closer than I would like to admit."

During the latest mission for the contestants they had to find 200 golden bars that were buried in the ground to win €4,000 for the prize pot. Again, they were successful and found all 200 bars so the prize pot now stands at €13,800.

Paudie took a tumble in shallow water during the mission and formerly banished player John returned to the game and was awarded the shield meaning he could not be banished or murdered that day.

Nina was banished from the castle following the round table and traitor Katelyn was given the shield which protected her from being murdered for one night. Gaelgeoir Niall was also murdered by the traitors.
