TWO NEW faces have joined the Nuacht Cúla4 team this year, including that of a Limerick native.
Nuacht Cúla4 is a daily six-minute news bulletin as Gaeilge specifically for children, broadcast from Tuesday to Friday at 1:30pm on children’s channel Cúla4.
Katelyn Hayes has joined the news team. She is 24 and from the village of Carrigkerry in west Limerick, close to the Kerry border.

Growing up on a farm, she says she “loves living in the countryside”.
Her grandmother, Annie, lives nearby and Katelyn likes to spend time with her and listen to her tell stories from when she was young.
She attended Carrigkerry national school, and Scoil Mhuire agus Íde secondary school in Newcastle West.
Katelyn obtained a degree in Irish and maths, as well as a Masters in media and journalism, both from the University of Galway.
The other new-joiner to Nuacht Cúla4 is Longford native, Laura Pakenham.
