The club announced that attacker, Brianna Taylor would be joining the 'Super Blues' from FK Gintra, where she featured in the Lithuanian A Lyga and competed in European competition, bringing valuable international experience to Markets Field.

Born in the United States, Brianna has developed a strong career in football, playing across multiple leagues in Europe and the United States. Most recently she played as a striker for FK Gintra, making appearances in both the domestic league and UEFA Women’s Europa Cup competition.

She previously represented Szekszárdi WFC in Hungary after a successful spell with Bnot Eilat FC in Israel.  Brianna has also turned out for MTK Budapest, Astra HFC – Ullo and the Lander Bearcats in the US.

A versatile and dynamic centre-forward, Brianna’s playing experience across different football cultures will provide Treaty United Women with an added attacking dimension as the squad prepares for the season ahead.

Taylor commented: "I’m really excited to be joining Treaty United Women. It’s a fantastic opportunity to come to a club with great potential and ambition and the first time that I’m playing football in Ireland. Looking forward to the season ahead."

Laurie Ryan – Manager, Treaty United Women, commented: "Brianna brings a wealth of experience from her time playing in Europe and will be a big asset to our attacking options. We’re looking forward to integrating her into the squad and seeing her impact early on in the season."

The Shannonsiders also confirmed the re-signing of defender Kate Jones ahead of the 2026 season.

Originally from Clare, Kate has been a dependable figure within the squad, contributing consistently through her defensive discipline and willingness to put the team first. Her presence adds balance and resilience to the back line, and her understanding of the demands of the league, makes her a valuable asset within the squad.

Retaining players of Kate’s profile is an important part of maintaining stability and momentum as Treaty United Women prepare for the challenges ahead.

Jones commented: "I’m pleased to be staying on with Treaty United Women. It’s a group I really enjoy being part of and I believe in what we’re working towards. I’m looking forward to continuing to push myself and contributing to the team throughout the season."

Laurie Ryan commented: "Kate, who came through from the Treaty Academy to the senior team, gives us consistency and reliability in defenceand applies herself well every day. Retaining players like Kate is key as we continue to build a competitive and organised squad."
