The Laois native is entering his fifth season of senior football, having joined Treaty ahead of the 2022 season from Bohemians, and has since gone on to make 111 appearances for the club.

The 22-year-old had a strong 2025 season, having played 35 times and provided three assists in last season’s campaign, helping the side reach the First Division playoff final for the first time in the club’s history.

Conroy also played a part in winning the Eustace Cup with his university side, TUS Limerick, in March alongside his Treaty teammates, Richkov Boevi and Fionn Doherty.

Speaking to Treaty United, Colin said:

"I’m delighted to have signed back and head into my fifth season with Treaty United. This club means a lot to me. We’ve built something strong over the last few seasons and hopefully we can build on that. The fans have been brilliant in my time here and I look forward to seeing them at the Markets Field in 2026."

Manager Tommy Barrett also commented on Conroy re-signing:

"He has been a very good player for us for a number of years since he came from Bohs 19s and his continuous desire and commitment is a credit to him. He is growing every year and is now beginning to be a leader in the group which is the next stage of his football and personal development."

Conroy becomes the fifth re-signing of the winter alongside Ben Lee, Ben Lynch, Richkov Boevi, Darren Nwankwo as well as new signing Cian Curtis from Bray Wanderers.
