Tommy Barrett's charges travel to Ferrycarrig Park knowing that avoiding defeat will guarantee them a place in this year's First Division promotion play-offs.

With Wexford winning in Tralee against Kerry last weekend, it sets up what is a mouth-watering clash in the South-East for that final play-off position.

Treaty sit in fifth position on 45 points following their exciting 2-1 win over high-flying Bray at the Markets Field on Friday night.

Goals from Mark Byrne and Joe Hanson gave the Shannonsiders’ all three points against a Bray side who sit third in the table. Treaty will be hoping to carry that momentum into Friday's clash with Wexford.

Barrett's charges will be wary of their relatively disappointing record against Wexford. In the ten matches that Treaty have played against Wexford to date, they have lost seven, drawn two and have won just once.

The Garryowen-based side will be hoping to buck that trend when they travel to Ferrycarrig on tonight. A draw would be enough to see them through to the play-offs.

Kick-off in Friday's crucial game is at 7.45pm and the match is live on LOITV.
