The Shannonsiders will be looking to build on last week's dramatic win over Athlone Town at the Markets Field.

Lee Devitt's injury-time winner ensured a vital three points for Tommy Barrett's side as they seek to stay in those all important promotion play-off spots.

Treaty's 3-2 win last weekend sees them sit in fifth position in the First Division table on 41 points, three points ahead of sixth place Wexford Town and six points ahead of seventh place Finn Harps.

Nothing could separate the sides when they last met at the Markets Field. A late Ewan Lee strike cancelled out a Patrick Ferry opener back in August.

Speaking after his side's win over Athlone, Tommy Barrett was under no illusions as to how tough the Kerry FC challenge will be.

"They’re a really good side, they’ve a good squad and manager," said Barrett

"They’ve done fantastic in the cup, that was an unbelievable result (against Sligo Rovers) recently. Fair play to them, to be 3-0 down and come back and win 4-3, it shows the quality and character they have.

“We're going to have to be bang at it," Barrett added.

Kick-off at Mounthawk Park is at 7.45pm and the match will be broadcast live on LOITV.
