Treaty United manager Dominic Foley
TREATY United's senior women's side have secured their place in the quarter-finals of the All-Island Cup.
Dominic Foley's Treaty side played out a 1-1 draw with DLR Waves in their final All-Island Cup group fixture played at Whitehall on Saturday afternoon.
Home side DLR Waves took the lead in the 10th minute when Michelle Doonan grabbed the opening goal for the home side.
However, resilient Treaty United hit back when Stefanie Young netted an equaliser eight minutes before half-time. It was Young's first goal for the club.
The draw ensures Treaty United advance to the last eight of the All-Island Cup. Treaty recorded a win and two draws in their three group games, finishing second in Group D, edged out for top spot by Shamrock Rovers on goal difference.
Treaty United return to action this Saturday when making the trip to Wexford for a Women's Premier Division league clash, 6pm.
