TREATY United continued their busy off-season with the appointment of Declan Farmer as the clubs' new Academy Manager - moving from his role with the boys U19 team.
Farmer had been with the U19's team since Treaty's inception in 2020. He is a UEFA A and Elite Youth A licensed coach with a huge amount of experience. Previously, he was the assistant manager of the Limerick FC Senior Men’s team and manager of the Limerick FC U19s.
In addition to founding and building the Ennis Town Academy, Farmer was the Chairman and Director of Football for the Clare Schoolboys for five years, where he revolutionised the program with the result of many Clare players receiving League of Ireland underage opportunities and a U16 national title.
Farmer replaces John Maclean as Academy Manager. Maclean had been involved with the club after Shane Keegan left for Cobh Ramblers in 2022.
