In form Treaty United welcome Waterford to the Markets Field

TREATY United welcome high-flying Waterford FC to the Markets Field on Friday hoping to extend their excellent form in the Airtricity League First Division.
Tommy Barrett's side have earned seven points from a possible nine since the season restarted following the mid-season break.
Treaty earned a 3-2 win over Kerry FC last time out in Tralee and Barrett will be hopeful of continuing their good form when second in the table side Waterford come to town.
Waterford handed Treaty a 7-0 hammering when the sides met last month but it was an understrength side that took to the field at the RSC.
Barrett has been able been able to pick from a bigger pack since the season break, despite the exits of Martin Coughlan and Alec Byrne as several key players have returned to fitness. Enda Curran has been in excellent form since his comeback.
Ahead of the game, Treaty have been boosted by the return of Sean Guerins and he is expected to be part of the squad for the game that has a 7.45pm start at the Markets Field.
Speaking in the wake of their win over Kerry FC on Friday, Treaty United manager Tommy Barrett said there was no reason why his side can’t put together another run of wins to keep the pressure on the teams ahead of them in the battle for promotion play-off places.
“I said to the lads at the mid-season break that nobody else, bar Waterford and Galway, at the time had won four matches in-a-row, but Cobh have done it since.
“We are capable of doing that, and we have proven that we are capable of doing that. Whether we can do it again is another thing. Everyone seems to have strengthened, but we haven’t. We are like Kerry in terms of being a fully amateur team.”
“I know they even have a few lads in on loan. That’s something we haven’t done yet, but certainly we find it difficult being a fully amateur club when trying to get lads in."
