Good news for Treaty United as Sean Guerins returns to the club

TREATY UNITED'S hopes of reaching the Airtricity League First Division play-offs for a third consecutive season have received a lift with the news that Sean Guerins has re-signed for the club.
Guerins left Treaty ahead of this season due to work commitments but has now found his way back to the Markets Field and could be a key signing for the second half of the campaign.
The Templemore native was part of the initial Treaty squad that entered the First Division in 2021 and made his club debut in their first ever game against Bray Wanderers.
He made over 50 appearances with Treaty in his initial spell and scored two goals and was a fans favourite. He helped the club reach the play-offs in consecutive seasons, as well as playing in the team that reached the FAI Cup semi-final.
Guerins is expected to be part of the Treaty United squad that plays Waterford FC in the First Division at the Markets Field on Friday night at 7.45pm.
