Limerick man and Traitors Ireland star, Paudie Moloney is set to take to the stage in Dublin in the panto Olly goes to Oz

LIMERICK man and Traitors Ireland star, Paudie Moloney is set to take on a new adventure, starring as the the Wizard of Oz in Olly Goes to Oz - A Wicked panto.

The popular TV star and Kilmallock native will join the cast of the panto on the 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin this Christmas.

The panto will take place from Friday, December 19 to Sunday, January 4 and Paudie will star alongside Al Porter, Fair City's Ryan Andrews and Maclean Burke, James Patrice, Rob Vickers, Erin McGregor, Michaela O'Neill, Zoe Talbot and Alison Dennan. The original script was written and directed by Al Porter and Ryan Andrews and this will be their 21st panto at the 3Olympia.

The story follows Olly, Polly and Dolly down the Yellow Brick Road on an unforgettable panto journey through Oz and sees Wicked and the Wizard of Oz collide in a whirlwind of fun and typical panto madness.

Tickets for the panto are already on sale on Ticketmaster from €26 plus a booking fee.
