Resident roving reporter and scourge of Georgia Salpa and Jennifer Maguire on RTÉ’s hugely popular Republic of Telly, Bernard O’Shea comes to the University Concert Hall this Thursday night for his first show in the venue.

The likeable comedian will make his much anticipated debut in the UCH, heralding the upward trajectory of an increasingly high profile career in comedy.

O’Shea, who also recently hosted The RTÉ Two New Comedy Awards, has been described recently as “a fizzing, iridescent ball of sheer energy; a fast- talking, fast-thinking comedian who invigorates a room with his presence”.

See him this Thursday in the UCH, tickets €15.

It is a busy time in the Concert Hall, with Charlie Landsborough, spoof 51 Shades of Maggie, Stayin’ Alive - The Bee Gees Story, Alone It Stands, the Irish Chamber Orchestra and Jimmy Carr all set to appear in the coming weeks. We like the look of Get Back - The Beatles on November 16. See www.uch.ie.
