Newcastle West RFC learn All-Ireland Junior Cup semi-final fixture details

Newcastle West RFC have qualified for the semi-finals of the All-Ireland Junior Cup

NEWCASTLE West RFC will enjoy home advantage for their Energia All-Ireland Junior Cup semi-final next month.

Newcastle West will face reigning Energia Junior Cup champions Clogher Valley at Cullinagh on Saturday's December 17, 2.30pm, in their All-Ireland semi-final fixture.

Munster Junior League champions Newcastle West stunned Ballyclare, last season’s runners-up, when scoring a thrilling 26-24 All-Ireland Junior Cup quarter-final win at the Cloughan on Saturday last.

Hooker Eoin O’Halloran helped himself to a brace of tries for the West Limerick side.

Newcastle West lost out to Clogher in last season's All-Ireland Junior Cup at the Cran. However, this time the Limerick men will be at home.

The second semi-final of this season's All-Ireland Junior Cup will see Enniskillen host Monkstown at Mullaghmeen on December 17.

The final of this season’s Energia Junior Cup has been pencilled in for Saturday, January 28, with the venue to be confirmed.
