Duncan Casey will retire at the end of this season
Former Munster rugby hooker Duncan Casey has announced that he will retire at the end of this season. The Shannon club man is currently playing with French side Grenoble in the Top14, but the front row forward is calling it a day after 6 years as a professional.
I'll be retiring at the end of the season after 6 brilliant years of pro rugby. How lucky I've been to experience so many things I flogged myself for years to achieve but never thought I could. Thanks Munster & Grenoble for allowing me to have the job every boy dreams of having.— Duncan Casey (@BigDunc123) April 22, 2019
Former Glenstal Abbey star Casey has played 46 times for Munster and scored five tries since making his debut against Perpignan in the Heineken Cup at Thomond Park in December 2013.
