The 199th pick in the 2000 NFL draft is set to compete for his sixth Super Bowl ring on February 3, 2019.

Tom Brady of the New England Patriots was the forgotten man of his draft year when the came out of Michigan ranked as a player who would most likely ‘not make it’ in the professional game.

Since 2000, Brady and his coach at the Patriots, Bill Belichick have given a master class in how to perform at the highest level in one of the most competitive leagues in World sport.

Brady will face the LA Rams in two weeks time chasing a record six Super Bowl wins as a QB.

The 41 year old has indicated that he would like to play for another ‘few’ years and there doesn't seem to be any signs of father time slowing the man down.

Brady, if you do not know much about him, is worth taking the time to look into. He eats clean, he drinks ‘special’ vitamin water and he goes to bed early.

Couple all those with a unique talent to perform in the most stressful situations and you see a template for all athletes to follow.

Take a step above Brady in the hierarchy and you will see a coach who doesn't do sound bites, doesn't ‘look the part’ but wins.

At the end of the day, it isn't about age, technique, niceness or words, it's all about the ‘W’
