Munster now second favourites for Guinness Pro14 title

Munster's win over Connacht has seen them go top of Conference A

Munster's win in their inter-provincial clash against Connacht (31-24) at the Sportsgrounds saw them move to 4/1 second favourites for the Guinness Pro14 title.

Leinster remained unchanged as 4/6 odds-on favourites after a 40-7 trouncing of Ulster at the RDS on Saturday.

Edinburgh shortened into 16/1 from 20/1 following their 38-0 dominance of Isuzu Southern Kings on home soil which saw them walk away with six tries and a bonus point under their belts.

Glasgow Warriors suffered a shock defeat to Benetton Rugby at Stadio Mongio which forced BoyleSports to ease them out to 13/2 from 11/2 as they are knocked off the top spot in Conference A.

Aoife Heffron, Spokesperson for BoyleSports commented: “Wins for both Leister and Munster see them lead the charge in Conference B and A with both sides remaining unchanged in the outright market. One side that did however see an uptake in support was Edinburgh after their win over Kings saw them move into second place in the Conference B table and shorten into 16/1.”
