Munster hooker Duncan Casey set to move at end of season

Duncan Casey set to depart Munster for France

MUNSTER rugby hooker Duncan Casey is set to leave the province for French ProD2 club Grenoble.

The former Glenstal Abbey student was pictured in the Munster dressing room after Sunday's win over Castres, leading a rendition of Stand Up and Fight (shirtless). Following the images of Casey's singing, Ireland international Conor Murray confirmed, in an interview with Sky Sports, that Casey was "departing for pastures new"

While Casey's destination is known, the actual time he will leave to join up with his new club is as of yet not clear.

Reports in France suggest that Casey could join Grenoble as soon as this week as a "medical joker", while there are also reports that Casey will join Grenoble on a full time basis at the end of this season.

With nothing official from Munster as of yet, aside from Murray's confirmation, Munster fans will have to wait and see when the former Irish schools international heads for those pastures new in the French ProD2.
