Limerick FC's Chiedozie Ogbene has trial at Premier League giants Chelsea
LIMERICK FC’s exciting winger Chiedozie Ogbene could be on the brink of a dream move to English Premier League giants Chelsea.
Ogbene has been on trial with Premier League champions Chelsea for the past two weeks according to Paul Lennon of Buzz.ie
Twenty year old Ogbene is understood to have impressed during his trial period with the Londoners. The former Cork City player is also said to be attracting interest from several other cross-channel clubs after impressing in his first season with the Blues.
Ogbene chipped in with eight Premier Division goals, making 32 appearances in all, as Limerick retained their Premier Division status for next season.
As Ogbene is contracted to Limerick for the 2018 season, the Shannonsiders are entitled to a transfer fee should be leave in the closed season.
