LIMERICK GAA clubs have until Tuesday October 11 to nominate candidates for positions at the top table of the 2017 County Board.
There is at least one position available with Irish and Culture Officer Micheal O’Riain (Pallasgreen) vacating his role due to the five-year-rule.
Last year every officer was returned unopposed at the Annual Convention in the Rathkeale House Hotel.
This year’s convention takes place on Sunday December 18 at a city venue.
Scor committee member Jim Enright (Askeaton-Ballysteen) is one potential candidate for the role of Irish and Culture Officer.
As of this Wednesday there were no nominations received by Limerick GAA secretary Mike O’Riordan but it appears all out-going officers will be going forward again.
Unless opposed this December, 2017 will be the fifth and final year for the current chairman (Oliver Mann), treasurer (Donal Morrissey), PRO (Eamonn Phelan) and assistant-secretary (Seamus McNamara).
