Lincoln fought back from a goal behind to share the spoils with Huddersfield in a breathless 1-1 draw between two in-form League One promotion hopefuls.
The hosts looked impressive throughout the first half but were unable to find the breakthrough, with Reeco Hackett putting a presentable chance wide and Lee Nicholls saving brilliantly from Freddie Draper.
Huddersfield grew into the game and took the lead after making a strong start to the second half.
Alfie May’s brilliant first touch got him into the box only for his shot to be saved – but May then crossed the rebound over goalkeeper George Wickens’ head for Leo Castledine to head home.
May had the chance to double the lead moments later, but Wickens again denied him by rushing off his line and smothering the shot.
Lincoln equalised eight minutes after going behind as Adam Reach capitalised on a scramble from a corner, finishing off the rebound from Castledine’s goal-line clearance.
Both sides pushed for the winner, but neither defence gave up an inch in a compelling battle.
