Solihull midfielder Bradley Stevenson scored and was later sent off as his side beat Scunthorpe 3-0 at home for their third straight National League win.
Stevenson, who gave Solihull a 2-0 interval lead after Tyrese Sinclair’s opener, was shown his second yellow card late in the first half for diving but Scunthorpe could not make their advantage count.
Sinclair fired Solihull into a 15th-minute lead when he rounded goalkeeper Rory Mahady before sliding the ball into an empty net and Stevenson made it 2-0 by converting a rebound on the half-hour mark before his dismissal in the 40th minute.
Solihull came under heavy pressure in the second half but their defence held firm and defender Tyler French’s close-range header in the 71st minute sealed all three points.
