THE draws for Limerick’s five adult club championships will be made at next week’s Annual Convention.

Earlier this year a County Board meeting voted to allow the draws to be made separate from convention, if sponsorship deemed it necessary.

However, this week it was confirmed that all draws will take place immediately after the Monday December 14 convention, which takes place in the Rathkeale House Hotel.

The annual gathering of club delegates commences with Mass at 6.30pm and the convention agenda proper to start at 7pm.

After all is completed the draws will be made for the Limerick senior hurling and football championship and the Limerick intermediate hurling and football championships.

While the eight teams are known for the Premier intermediate hurling championship, they will be drawn from 1-8 to determine the fixture scheduled.

It is expected that the Annual Convention will be uneventful with no election of officers and no major changes muted by way of motions.
