Wealdstone sealed their first National League win in a month as Micah Obiero starred in a 2-0 win at Brackley.
Sam Cox’s side ended a sequence of three draws and a defeat at St James Park, with Obiero’s deflected shot setting up the first before he slotted home the second.
The visitors took the lead midway through the first period, Obiero’s effort taking a ricochet and falling kindly for Enzio Boldewijn. The Dutchman made no mistake as he hammered home at the far post to the delight of the travelling fans behind the goal.
Having carried the lead into half-time, Wealdstone doubled their advantage just a minute after the restart. Obiero went from creator to scorer as he cut inside, lined himself up and bent a neat finish off the inside of the post.
