ANOTHER journey into the Munster club championship begins this Sunday for Dromcollogher-Broadford, but this time on the hurling front.

Seven times, they have journey into the province as Limerick SFC winners, this Sunday they play in the Munster club JAHC.

Their quarter final tie against Dr Crokes of Killarney takes place in Dromcollogher at 2.00.

Victory would advance the newly crowned Limerick junior champions into a Munster semi final at home to Cork’s Dungourney or Cloughdubh on November 15.

While there is no shortage of Munster club experience in the Drom-Broadford out-line they also have John Brudair in their management. He led Charleville to this title in 2011 and of course led Drom-Broadford to the 2008 Munster SFC title.

The west Limerick men are managed by player-manager Ray Lynch and will look to free-taker Derry McCarthy, captain Paul Madigan, Damien Lacey and Tom McLoughlin.

Dr Crokes will have former Kilmallock player Seanie Burchill in their team.
