There are six switches alterations to the team that earned a bonus point win over Treviso in the Champions Cup.

Argentinian international Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino makes his first start to the province while James Cronin wins his 50th Munster cap.

Niall Scannell replaces the injured Mike Sherry at hooker while Robin Copeland comes into the side instead of Dave O’Callaghan in the back row.

Tomas O’Leary takes Conor Murray’s place in the starting lineup while Keith Earls moves from right wing into outside centre. Amorosino comes in for his first start in place of Simon Zebo with Gerhard van den Heever taking the other wing spot in the team.

Kick off for the game in Thomond Park is at 5.15pm.
