AFC Wimbledon come from behind to secure back-to-back victories

AFC Wimbledon came from behind to beat Doncaster 2-1 and secure back-to-back league wins for the first time this season.

Owen Bailey put the hosts ahead early in the second half, but efforts from Ryan Johnson and Myles Hippolyte turned the game on its head.

A lacklustre first half brought little in the way of goalmouth action, with Wimbledon seeing a penalty appeal turned down when Hippolyte was tripped inside the box.

Rovers started the second half brightly, and were rewarded when Bailey stooped to head in a Luke Molyneux corner after 53 minutes.

Wimbledon responded well and levelled in the 70th minute when Johnson met a Jake Reeves corner at the back post.

And they were ahead after 82 minutes when a poor clearance from keeper Thimothee Lo-Tutala was pounced upon and the ball was fed into Hippolyte, who turned and hooked the ball in at the near post.
