Laurel Hill Coláiste soccer squad competing for the Munster A senior cup
LAUREL Hill Coláiste have reached the Munster A senior soccer final after only establishing a team in the school just this year. They will face Presentation College, Thurles tomorrow Wednesday, January 24 in Tipperary Town.
The quarter-final finished in dramatic fashion with Laurel Hill winning on penalties against SMGS Blarney, 5-3, with captain and goalkeeper Nicole Nix being the hero having saved two penalties, as well as scoring the winner!
The girls got a semi-final 3-2 victory against Ursuline Blackrock, sending them to their first ever Munster final.
