Ian Henderson effort enough as Rochdale edge National League win at Oxford City

Ian Henderson netted a second-half winner as Rochdale picked up their first win of the season with a 1-0 National League victory at Oxford City.

The game went into half-time goalless, but not without a few chances, when Henderson had an effort cleared off the line, midway through the half.

The Dale eventually opened the scoring after 71 minutes through crowd favourite Henderson, who slotted the ball home from six yards to score in his 10th season for the club, in his second spell.
