Treaty United manager Tommy Barrett has added another keeper to his squad ahead of the new season
TREATY United manager Tommy Barrett has added another new player to his squad ahead of the Airtricity League start with the signing of goalkeeper Shane Hallahan.
The Cobh native played the first half of Treaty's pre-season defeat to Cork City last weekend. He has previous experience in the League of Ireland having played 26 times for Cobh Ramblers.
He joins Treaty from Munster Senior League side Cobh Wanderers. Hallahan says that he is excited to get his Treaty United career underway.
"I’m absolutely delighted to have signed for Treaty United, when I got the phone call I couldn’t wait to get started," he told the club's media team.
"I’m really looking forward to meeting the fans and everyone involved with the club. See ye soon for a massive year ahead.”
Treaty United begin their Airtricity League First Division season on Friday, February 17th when they welcome Bray Wanderers to the Markets Field. That game has a 7:45pm kick-off.
