McCarthy Insurance Group expands team with Newcastle West refurbishment

McCarthy Insurance Group has completed a full refurbishment of its Newcastle West office, marking another milestone in the company’s long history of serving communities across Ireland.

The renovated branch, located on Bridge Street, is the group’s 16th office nationwide and forms part of its continued growth in the region.

The refurbishment comes as McCarthy Insurance Group strengthens its presence in Limerick with the recent acquisition of John Neville Insurances Ltd., based in Askeaton.

John Neville Insurances was known particularly for its expertise in horse and equestrian insurance. Its offerings included horsebox and horse lorry cover, point-to-point handlers and trainers insurance, and private horse-owner liability policies - specialist products that have served the equine community across Limerick and beyond.

With John Neville Insurances now integrated into McCarthy Insurance Group’s Newcastle West branch, customers can expect the same local service they have come to rely on, combined with the wider support and resources of McCarthy Insurance Group.

The branch now caters for the full range of McCarthy Insurance Group products, including personal insurance such as motor and home, life cover, pensions, financial planning, health insurance, farm insurance, and business insurance for companies of all sizes. This ensures customers have access to tailored advice and solutions for every stage of personal, life, and business needs under one roof.

As part of this integration, McCarthy Insurance Group is delighted to welcome new team members Kate Murray and Gillian Mortell, who join the Personal Lines team, along with Sarah Fitzgerald, who joins the branch’s Administration team.
