Homeowners who register for an upcoming Home Energy Upgrade Information Evening in Limerick will get a free Home Energy Assessment (HEA) worth €850.

The free Information Evening event on Thursday, February 20, in The Woodlands House Hotel at 7.30pm is being organised by Envirobead — one of Ireland’s leading Deep Retrofit specialists.

Envirobead are currently rolling out their ‘One Stop Shop’ service across the country and are inviting homeowners who are interested in finding out more about Home Energy Upgrades to register now at envirobead.com to avail of the free HEA.

“The Home Energy Assessment is the first step, that will give you all the information required to show you what needs to be done to bring your home up to a B2 minimum rating,” explained Fergal Cantwell of Envirobead.

“The biggest reason to get a Home Energy Upgrade is to future-proof your home for the next 25 to 30 years,” he added.

“You’ll have a more comfortable home and, hopefully, reduce your energy bills into the future as well."

A panel of Home Energy Upgrade experts — including Stephen Farrell (SEAI, Programme Manager National Retrofit Technical), April McHale (Retrofit Manager, Daikin) and Hugh Foley (RTS Heating and Cooling) — will be in attendance at the Woodlands Hotel to explain the various aspects of the ‘One Stop Shop’ initiative.

Everything from home insulation to solar panels to heat pumps to ventilation, and much more, will be on the agenda.

The expert panel will also take part in a ‘Question and Answer’ session.

“If you’re looking at doing a deep retrofit, the ‘One Stop Shop’ is the only way to go for your Home Energy Upgrade. It’s so much simpler,” said Justine Barrett from the SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland).
