Nestled in the tranquil landscape of Bruree, Co Limerick, Beech Lodge Care Facility stands tall as a symbol of compassion and dedication.

Owned by Anne Maria and James Moore, Beech Lodge Care Facility celebrated its 21st anniversary on May 18th 2024, a testament to over two decades of unwavering dedication to the welfare of its residents and the wider community.

Since its beginnings as a 40-bed facility in 2003, Beech Lodge has grown, evolved, and expanded its capacity to now accommodate 66 residents. Proudly family run, it has over 60 staff members and has been a pillar of the community since.

Each of the 66 rooms has their own en-suite and is equipped with a nurse call-bell, electronic profiling bed and flat screen TV.
The expansion reflects not only the foresight and perseverance of its founders but also the enduring support of the local community, which has rallied behind the facility’s mission of service and care.

Beech Lodge has excellent nursing staff, in-house physio, medications delivered by a pharmacy, on-site GP visits, optical, dental, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, psychological and speech therapy and tissue viability.

The care facility specialises in accommodating post-operative hip/knee rehabilitation, are private health insurance approved, have an in-house laundry facility, dedicated kitchen staff providing homemade daily meals and accommodating nutritional needs, along with a driver and carer to bring residents to appointments with our own bus.

Beech Lodge’s activities team provide music and art therapy, celebrate all birthdays and special occasions, hold seasonal parties and welcome visitors. All GAA matches are screened in their beautiful warm, bright and airy ‘Dome’.

They are also proud to offer hairdressing and chiropody on-site and Mass is celebrated.

Throughout its 21 year journey, Beech Lodge has strived to become a home from home where residents can find solace, companionship, and the highest standard of care.

With services ranging from long-term nursing and medical care to retirement and lifestyle options, Beech Lodge caters to a diverse array of needs, ensuring that each resident receives personalised attention and support.

Proprietors Anne Maria and James Moore, alongside their family and dedicated team, hosted a vibrant celebration to mark this significant milestone. Residents, families, and friends came together to honour 21 years of community-focused care, sharing in laughter, music by the one and only Shaun O’Dowd, pictured below, and heartfelt reminiscences - a true testament to the bonds that have been forged within the walls of Beech Lodge.

Looking ahead, Beech Lodge remains committed to excellence and innovation, continually adapting to meet the evolving needs of its residents and the broader community.
