With less than three days to go and over 120 companies confirmed to date, Ireland’s flagship commercial fishing exhibition promises to showcase the very best of the industry’s products and services under one roof.
Taking place in the spacious exhibition hall at UL, there will be a fantastic variety of stands and outside boat displays, including a completed G. Smyth boat, which proved to be a huge hit with visitors at last year’s Scottish Skipper Expo.
Speaking of his involvement in the 2023 Irish Skipper Expo, Gerald Smyth said: “I am delighted to be showcasing our new 9.2m Fast Cat at Limerick next year. We had a great show this year and are looking forward to returning in 2024.”
Recognising the diverse nature and changing landscape of the industry, Sharon Boyle, commercial fishing manager with Mara Media, says that the show continues to evolve to meet the everchanging needs of the visitors and exhibitors.
“We take great pride in ensuring that the show contains a great variety of products and services, and also in creating an environment where people can network and conduct business in a professional yet relaxed setting.
“The industry in Ireland has undergone significant changes in recent years and we want to ensure that the show reflects this - continuing under the motto of, ‘Your Industry, Your Show’.
“We have had such a fantastic response to the show in 2023 and it is great to see that our exhibitors maintain such an optimistic view of the future, with lots of new products and services set to improve the industry.”
The announcement that the IFA Aquaculture’s annual conference and AGM and NMCA Seafarer’s conference will once again take place on the eve of the show is also a welcomed addition, offering visitors the opportunity to learn about the future of the Aquaculture and Offshore industries while also enjoying the show.
Offering all visitors the chance to beat the queues, the pre-registration service is now open online, where you can secure your free pass to the event and simply collect your badge on the day in our new and improved system.
